Utility Record Request

This form is to request engineering records related to public utility systems only. For utility (water/sewer) billing & customer service, please click here.

As owners and operators of both the water and wastewater systems that service most of Kalamazoo County, the City of Kalamazoo is obligated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to assist in protecting our utility infrastructure and water supply. In order to comply with Homeland Security we do not offer utility records or information online.

Consultants, property owners, and contractors may require information regarding City-owned public utilities when underground work is to be done within the City right-of-way, such as the location and size of mains or services, locations of public utility easements, and other "as-built" information. You may request this information by submitting a utility record request here.

These requests are subject to a minimum three day turnaround. You may be contacted by engineering staff if more information or clarification is necessary.
